Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to another morning with the masters who devoted themselves to the Lord daily with you.

But without further ado, we're going to round out with day five of our, can I really overcome sin and temptation devotion?

And just like the previous days, there's so much scripture in this actual devotional, we're just going to start with it.

And it says, what if I've already given into temptation?

What if it's too late? You fought temptation in your strength and lost.

Now you're staying guilty before the Holy Lord of the universe. We've all been there.

First John chapter one verse eight says, if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Here's what we do, verse nine continues, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins and purify us.

So take your sin to your father, admit you were wrong, repent of your failure and ask for his merciful forgiveness.

Claim his promise to forgive your mistakes and sins to wipe the slate clean and remember your failures no more.

Does God's forgiveness mean that we can simply sin and confess than sin and confess more?
