This is another episode in a series that I’ve been doing where I share a bit of truth and the simple, unhurried word of God. The purpose is to give you a tool that helps you and your family to meditate on God’s word. You can listen as soon as you get up, before bed, if you’re feeling anxious, during quiet time with the kids, or having a hard time sleeping, whatever works for your family! I like to share some simple truths before we dive into the main topic verses. I’m trying to do it in a way that is easy for the kids to understand as well! Sometimes it’s hard to slow down. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.   Isaiah 55:10, 11   The rain and snow come down from the heavens     and stay on the ground to water the earth.
