Hey moms. Welcome to this episode of the Dorenda Wilson podcast. I'm Dorenda. I'm married to Daryl and we have been married for 32 years. I cannot even believe that. We also have eight kids

and we have been homeschooling for over 26 years. We also have eight grandkids, which we are

very, very happy about. We're excited because really only two of our kids have had children yet. One is, and then another

is having their first. So we're just at the beginning of an explosion in our family, and we are

thrilled. We couldn't be more delighted. We think children are a blessing. We know they are a blessing,

and we've lived that way

over the years. But you know, the scriptures are clear that they are a blessing to a righteous

man. And what does a righteous man do? A righteous man walks in obedience to God's word,

and God's word gives us some pretty clear direction on parenting and disciplining. And that's what we're

going to be talking about today because all of that directly affects your homeschooling.

You know, your homeschooling is going to go so much better if your children are growing in

character and they understand the boundaries and they're respecting you and

there's a general respect in the home and there's just a piece that comes with that that you can't get
