I want to give you a simple strategy that you can use to really help drop more intimately

into your experience when you're feeling something that might typically feel unusual

or something that you wouldn't want to feel.

And so often in these moments where we feel something out of the blue like a flash of

sadness, anger, grief, pain, discomfort, uncertainty, confusion, it's a normal human

experience to evaluate it through the lens of like, why is this here, does this make

sense?

Is this okay?

Am I safe to be having this experience?

In other words, this is your brain essentially trying to make sense of why this is coming up

and that it doesn't mean anything that could potentially be threatening to you.

And so to a certain extent, this ability to assess what we're experiencing through the

lens of why am I experiencing this is a good thing, but it primarily pertains to those

bigger experiences that are quite unusual and actually do represent something more being
