Persistence is something we need in life if we want to get things done, right from the mundane things we do every day, on to the great adventures we plan.

And some of us plan greater adventures than others. And in that I think you'll see an increase

in persistence and an increased dedication to persistence. On this show I want you

We got a good one for you today. We're going to talk with Simon Pavey from the UK and of course you know Simon

Pavey already but you definitely know him from long way round with you and

McGregor and Charlie Borman. This guy's not only famous in the movies he's also

famous for running to thear probably too many times.

Well I'm speaking with Simon Pavey, who until now has already entered seven Dakar races, finishing in five of those, which

is incredible. He's the head of the de facto off-road rider training facility, which is the

BMW Motorad Off- Road skills in the UK.

He's been a contributor to many motorcycle magazines and most recently I think it's a

brake magazine which he is an official tester for.

He's been a contributor to some books on riding skills and on top of all that

Simon's been in numerous films including everyone knows long way around with Charlie Borman and

Jim McGregor long way down raced a car with Borman and Jim McGregor, long way down, raced at a car with Borman, by any means, again

with Borman, and right to the edge with Charlie Borman.
