This is CBSI and the world. I'm Jean Baxter with my colleague Simon Constable in the south of France.

We turn from paradise to considering what we didn't know about for the bulk of my life,

microplastics. I read from Simon's copy. Plastics are everywhere across the world for decades.

Over the past few years, scientists fear the tiny pieces of plastic known as microplastics are

polluting the globe and pose health hazards. And then Simon has a quiz for us. I knew none of these

answers. Does that make me typical or atypical, Simon? Have I been behind in education here?

I do not think you've been in high and I certainly didn't know any of the answers to these

before I started looking at them and I think I would probably have got minus 10 if I'd have

actually take this and it was my life on the line. I still wouldn't have been able to get them right.

They're very, very specific questions and answers, and they're very odd and very disturbing as well.

Let's go to question three. What percentage of samples were found to contain microplastics in U.S. West Coast seafood, according to recent scientific analysis.

Now, it doesn't matter what the percentage is, for heaven's sakes. Do I want to eat plastic

and my seafood? No, but all right, let's have the quiz here. For those of you who are exceedingly

well informed, you'll enjoy this. All right, the percentage A 23 B, 39, C, 53%, D, 81%, E 99. I'm going to guess

99 just because the whole thing sounds scary. And the correct answer, Simon?
