Hello, as you might have guessed from the title of this episode, it's Jen here to tell

My Jenny of the Blocks review of the year 2022 OMG what a year we had the Euro of course

we had the Euro and you're going to be hearing a bit more about that in a minute so get ready

for that part.

We had so much more besides we had the Cricket World Cup, the Rugby World Cup, both of

which took place in New Zealand, both of which were close but no cigar for our respective

England teams.

We also had the shocking retirement of Ash Barty from women's tennis after winning the Australian

Open and the not-so-shocking retirement of Serena Williams after not winning the US Open.

We had an awful lot of chat about Emma Raddicanu being a one-hit wonder.

We had the Commonwealth Games and a resplendent Irish Macoggan at the Athletics World Championships

and we had an inaugural Tour de France Femme.

We had a lot so you can imagine the dilemma I'm presenting in this special episode as I

ask England women's cricket captain Heather Knight, American football coach and Sky Sports

Pundit Phoebe Schechter, England Rugby Shawna Brown and Eurosport Cycling presenter

Paula Shenaway for their highlights of the year.

I'm not going to tell you what mine is though we did have a little chat about it in our 2022

review of the year which we've recorded exclusively for our Patreon subscribers but you know

you could make some educated guesses.

While I'm here I was absolutely delighted to see women's Euro golden boot winner Beth

Meade win tonight as I record this BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
