Hi, Hannah here and welcome to this week's Sunday chops.

It may have escaped you notice that we are now in November.

And what November the 1st means at standard issue, other than it's when I panic tax my car,

is that we start talking to some men.

Remember when Mickey and I, you meant to get a hug off Patas and Joseph? That seems like a long time ago now.

And so every Sunday this month we'll be talking to some blokes, chaps, fellas, geezers, whatever it is you call them.

Next week I'll be chatting to actor and man of many other talent, Matt Fraser, about

crypt tales, a new anthology series he's curated for the BBC. The first episode which stars Matt himself is on BBC 4 at 10 p.m. tomorrow night. That's Monday the 2nd of November. So if you want to watch it in advance,

there's a bit of what I'm going to call good homework for you.

And then later this month, Mickey will be talking

to comedian Richard Herring

about his new book, The Problem with Men,

when is International Men's Day and why it matters.

Plus she's going to be finding out more about the Good Lad Initiative, a gender equality

charity, working to tackle the root causes of inequality

and to promote positive masculinity.

Jen's going to the room next door to meet Michael Spicer and we all have some other exciting ions in the fire. Who knows

whether they will pan out but it's not going to stop me from checking my email
