Hello and welcome to episode 44 of the Standard Issue Podzine.

I'm Mickey Noonan and I'm flying solo for this intro. That's because we're doing things a little

bit differently this week thanks to Donald J. Trump who instead of shitting off as we've

repeatedly requested visited the UK and because a huge sway that Britain is made up of absolute smashes,

he was greeted by one hell of a protest. Man, I love this country sometimes.

Later on, you can hear Hannah chatting with actor Catherine Parkinson, probably best known as Jen in the IT crowd,

and director Tamara Harvey about the play Home I'm Darling.

Hannah and I catch up with the awesome Lauren Livesy of the Bronte Parsonage Museum to celebrate the bicentenary of Emily Bronte's birth.

And all three of us stare in awe at Sporting Legends Kate and Helen Richardson Walsh,

who came in to chat all things hockey including the Games World Cup

which starts on Saturday the 21st of July. But first back to that incredible protest.

Yep on Friday the Women's March London dominated the streets of the capital and our

Hannah Dunleavy and Jen offered were there with a microphone to chat to some of the

brilliant women marching in protest including Gabby Edlin of Bloody Good Period, Ashlyn Bee, Liz Carr, Samantha Baines, Patty the American Tourists, and as Hannah noted, great name for a band,

Marra Clark of Abortion Support Network, Alice Jennings of action aid

Saudi Abdi from Action Aid Somaliland violent Methiga

and Aisha Hazarika and ahead of the march I spoke to Hooderjawd one of its

organizers about what the main names of the rally were.
