Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Girls' Camp podcast. I'm your host, Haley Rawl, and today we get to

discover together if we are actually living in a simulation after all. I collected stories from you

of experiencing glitches in the matrix or the simulation. A glitch in the matrix, as per my own

definition, is basically when something coincidental happens, but it's just a really crazy coincidence,

or just something surreal and uncanny that you can't make sense of.

That makes you feel like we might be in a simulation and the people in charge of running it

just got a little lazy or something glitched.

I don't know if this is a universal

faith deconstruction phase or experience, but I had a period of time post deconstruction

of Mormonism where I was kind of down this simulation rabbit hole. And I don't think I would necessarily say I fully believed that this was all a simulation,

but I kind of was like getting into my head about the possibility that it could be.

The funny thing with the simulation theory, which I will read to you,

let's do that right now, actually. Let's read a

definition. I consulted my good old friend Google and not my new friend, Chat, aka Chat GBT,

because I have recently discovered that ChatGBTGT is really bad for the environment.

It takes way more energy as a search engine, chat GPT as compared to Google.

And I think just AI in general is that way.
