Well, somebody's already disappointed with me. How you doing?

I'm surviving. What a year. I can't do the whole what a year thing yet, because that comes next week, obviously. But what a year, you know? Just, just, it's been a long one. It's been one of a lot of progress. It's been one of surprises. It's, earlier this year, I did a little bit of a strut and I said I'm not watching the news anymore

and then like, we're going to make the news more interesting than it's been in forever.

I'm still resisting as hard as I can.

But now it's starting to like, the tendrils are starting to penetrate, you know?

Oh, there's only so much catnip you can look at.

But no, no, I have to, I have to do my best.

As I am looking at the end of the year and thinking about coming back

and thinking about gratitude being the attitude. As as of recording this since I'm ahead and feels so good, you know, being, winding up

the finishing details on the Advent calendar, that feels fantastic. I feel really great. So just

taking stock of this year, this long, winding crazy year.

And before I get into my bullshit today, I just wanted to say, thanks for coming along with me.

I have been asked to produce multiple gay romance books in the last few weeks out of nowhere. I have gotten no offers out of nowhere in 2024 and out of the last couple weeks suddenly it's all like it's it's all of a sudden

gay, gay, gay and I'm like okay all right we're on the right track again. I remember I
