I am now 43 years old and my friends are the same age group.

And I don't know about y'all,

but I feel that at a certain point,

our friendships should mature beyond simply just talk shit sessions

if they're like sisterhood friendships.

You know, some friends, like that's all it is, right?

Like you catch up, blah, blah, blah.

However, I do believe that some friendships kind of stay stagnant.

And I've noticed that I am not stagnant, and I'm noticing like other ways that they become

stagnant that I didn't consider and one of those things is that I'm really I

don't play about my friends and I'm very considerate and I am very helpful and I

moved to a place where I do have some old friends, people that I talked to on a regular basis. And after the movers left today, and I sat still for the first time in weeks, It dawned on me that none of them asked me if I needed any

help. None of them asked me when they can come see me and none of them asked me how the move is going.

And these are all people that I would consider like oh that's my sister that's my brother and I got really

emotional in that moment because it was like fuck and let me tell you this is

how the growth is the growth is that I didn't go to,

oh, this is hurting my feelings, they're not my friends. The growth is that I immediately

went to. Damn, that means I got a whole new clearing out to do.
