Yes, by the time you hear this episode, the final culminating season of Game of Thrones

will have begun. In other words, I wanted to record this before then. For a number of reasons,

the most important being, I don't want to accidentally give you spoilers.

The anticipation is the other reason. I want you to hear it in my soul. I want you to ride

the waves of my positively fueled anxiousness at what is going to happen. What are DB Weiss

and crew going to come up with? How are they going to end this massively successful global

phenomenon of a show? At one point in watching the rewatch, after the show commentary,

there is a statement that says, I know you watched 37 hours of Game of Thrones by now. And you're like,

oh, I have. And at first you're like, did I? And then you're like, I did. You're proud of

yourself because 37 hours of Game of Thrones. And you're like, I can't think of a bad episode.

That's incredible. And it's a testament to why this show has become such an ingrained part of

our pop culture. I have so much Game of Thrones in my house and in my life. And you're just like,

why? Why? Why does it matter? And that is what today's episode is about. Today's episode is a

dedication to Game of Thrones and the ways, wise, and what's of how it has managed to become such an

integral part of so many of our lives and how we can continue to enjoy it long after winter has come
