I'm your host, A.G., and I'm by myself today because I am sick, authentically sick.

I just got back from the hospital. I have 104 fever and I am taking the day off and I'm

going to take tomorrow off too, so there'll be no beans tomorrow. And I do apologize.

I hate not bringing you the news, but I wanted to come here and tell you this.

Fortunately, my studio is a two-foot walk from my bed, so it's not really terrible for me to be

sitting here, but I do need to take some time for myself this today and tomorrow. And we'll be back

on Sunday with Muller Shiro and Monday with the Daily Beans. But really quick, Trump is hedging

today on whether he's going to continue breaking the law or not. That sounds so weird to say.

But he's deciding whether he's going to continue to obstruct justice or if he's going to cooperate.

He also predicted the impeachment battle, which I guess now he acknowledges is real.

We'll end up in the Supreme Court. I get fake impeachments don't go to the Supreme Court, but he's

saying he thinks that this one will end up there. I'm not sure it'll go that high, although I

assume they'll hear it because it's such an important case, but there's just so much precedent

on the side of the Democrats in this particular case. And speaking of the Democrats, they're

preparing a bunch of subpoenas in response to Trump's letter that he's not going to, he doesn't

think impeachment is real, even though it'll go to the Supreme Court. I'm not sure why they

didn't already do this, like why they didn't already have a subpoena written up for Sondland when

he didn't show up. And we still don't even know if Mjavanavic is going to be there tomorrow.

They just haven't officially called it off. Maybe they'll do it at midnight tonight. Beans on that

midnight tonight, they'll call off the Yvonnevic thing. And I think Adam Schiff actually wrote a
