I am Adrian Marie Brown, a writer, student of Miracles and Love, emergent strategist,

pleasure activist, and happy auntie, living in the land of the Lombi peoples currently

known as Durham. And this is how to survive the end of the world. The podcast I usually

do with Autumn, but Autumn had to go pick up a sick baby today, and so I'm doing it without

her. Hopefully I don't fail miserably at this, but we are still going to learn about

apocalypse with race, rigour, and curiosity. That's what we're up to today. And I'm actually

really excited. Our sibling series continues. And today we have, I believe you two are going

to be our youngest sibling movement pair, which is exciting. We've got a nice full spectrum.

But today we have Benji Hart, Maya Hart, and we're all meeting for the first time today.

But Benji and I have been in each other's DMs for a couple of years now talking about

being multiracial in black and how that impacts the organizing we do. And I've been sort of

tuned in and paying attention to the organizing you're doing in Chicago. And then Maya has

come through the sort of bold realm, the black organizing for leadership and dignity realm

is an organizer in the Durham area, so my neighbor. And that's the most that I know.

I'm like, you're an organizer and you work here locally. And I also know that we have

a nibbling relationship because you have a sweet, sweet one by a dear beloved of mine

that I call A-Aron. So Benji and Maya, at first I just want to welcome you to how to
