justice facilitator for social movements living on Dakota and in a Shinobi land currently

known as Minneapolis. And I'm Aja Marie Brown, a writer, student of miracles, and love,

And now you've got everybody wondering about Durham. I know. They should wonder. So, here we are,

we are so excited today to be continuing in our sibling miniseries. Today we have the honor and

pleasure to welcome to our show Una and Michi Osacho. And I'm so excited about this because I met

Una many years ago back in 2007 when we briefly overlapped at this organization called the City

Kids Foundation in New York City. And we didn't really, we didn't get to work together. It's just

you're kind of working in proximity. And Una was on her way out. And I was like there for a year

on a short-term gig. Wow. And then we didn't see each other again for years. And the next time

we saw each other was in Detroit at the Allied Media Conference. Yeah. Which some of our listeners will

know is this at the time it was an annual, now it's by annual social justice conference for

organizers, media makers, and artists. And when I ran into Una years later in Detroit, Una and her

sister Michi were leading a workshop on burlesque dance and liberation. And I was like, hold on. Wait. Wait a second.

When my mind is blown, trying to understand and catch up to where you are on the liberation path. And

too, there's a whole other side of you that I did not know. Three, you have a sister? Hold on a second.
