So I want to talk about shutter count in this episode.

Specifically, let's define what shutter count is. It's it's

better named shutter actuation count which is a kind of a geeky or nerdy way to be able to talk about it, but what we're talking about is the event that takes place every time you press down that shutter button, you're actuating the shutter.

And it's a good word for it because you are initiating a mechanical process most of the time and and there's a mechanical shutter inside

your camera even mirrorless cameras at all the cameras have and mechanical shutter inside of it and

it so that the actuation is a good word for it because it's the sequence of events that is amazing to me about that how it works.
