Shut your door,

Matthew chapter six.

We're talking about prayer and fasting,

and if you are just now joining us for this talk,

many of us at the church as we're going through these messages

are taking 21 days to give our hearts over to fasting to give our hearts

over to prayer by removing some food from our diet by removing some normal

things from our our daily lives we're choosing to allow consumption of carbs and consumption of calories

to be replaced by something better, something more powerful that God can give us and that is

heavenly bread that we need to eat.

This is what Jesus meant when he said,

man was not meant to live only by bread alone,

but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

And I want to encourage you today in your prayer life.

I want to encourage you today in seeing prayer differently.

So many times we walk in such a heavy condemnation,

like I should pray more, and I need to pray more but I want to inspire you I want to I want my goal would be for you to be

Liberated to walk in the power of what prayer truly is.

Jesus in Matthew chapter six,

we're gonna pick it up in verse five.

He said, and when you pray,

you shall be not like,
