Last week was hard for me.

Last week was Neb.

This week feels like a flow.

I began it with a disclaimer, which in hindsight I didn't really

need. I was heavily grieving the loss of my mom last week, who I lost two years ago but I'm currently planning a tea party in her honor and

while I was recording the episode RSVPs were coming in and it was too much to

handle and it was impacting me.

Naturally, super naturally, but I had made a disclaimer at the beginning of the

episode saying I'm so sorry I just I feel like I'm going to be in a bad mood

or just in a sad or heavier mood and I totally

understand that if you're tuning into a podcast to feel light and bubbly and giggly,

this is not what you're going to get.

But it just took five minutes of speaking to get out of my system and

process that. And then it was all good. Also sick for the weekend and I don't know if

you were like this, but my parents were so unsympathetic when I was sick growing up

If I had hurt myself physically like let's say I rolled my ankle and I wanted to go to the doctor to get it checked out.

No. The answer was no. If I was sick and wanted to go to school late, the answer was no.

Certainly not. When I started feeling sick at school, I did not bother calling my parents. I called my grandfather.
