I thought about this when I woke up this morning. I've been thinking about this for days and haven't really found a way to express it in a way that would be, I don't know, fair.

That's why I try to do is I try to be honest I try to be fair and I know a lot of people

have preconceived notions about

parapolitical topics because they figure that they have to be satisfied that their guy or their girl or whoever it is is going to be

favored by the talk show host and I know that on most radio stations such as the ones that I'm on we have a

conservative leaning type of attitude with regard to the political climate that we're in right now.

And although the current US presidential campaigns are focused almost entirely on domestic issues.

We have to understand that as Americans, we live on a planet that is engulfed in horrific wars.

We are still in an escalating arms race

and we always wake up to the possibility of a threat of nuclear annihilation.

I don't know how many times last week I was told Clyde get ready you're going to be talking about Iran attacking Israel or Israel attacking Iran and that

might still happen.

But it's been on hold for some reason and because I like I said I set aside time usually on a Monday where you know things happen over a weekend and you have plenty of time to organize a show

And that's the dangerous reality of of what we're up against right now and how my

schedule is. I mean I just wonder if there's ever a moment where these issues that we hear about from the

candidates ever going to address the idea of maintaining peace in the world.
