Summary

The Purge movie series was meant to be predictive programming for "Civil War" in America by revealing much about our country and how we think. Many people secretly wish for a night of no laws - a night where murder and looting are legal. It is obvious that all a community needs is an excuse, whether it be a case of police brutality, unfair gun laws, or overturning of Roe V Wade -- there will be a faction that will go about stealing and destroying property regardless of whether or not it is illegal because most state attorney generals have gotten soft on prosecuting anyone who commits these crimes out of protest.
