Summary

Smokey the Bear was once the public service announcer reminding us how to prevent forest fires. Times have changed as scientists and some global warming activists are now dogging on good old Smokey saying that the old mascot may be to blame for wildfires since he was the pitchman for the federal government’s aggressive wildfire suppression policy. Some believe that tactic and climate change may have contributed to making American forests vulnerable to combustion over the long term. However, there is strong speculation that ecological terrorists or even Deep State agents go into these areas and with a few flares, ignite the peat and underbrush in a primitive area to create a haze of cloud cover that cooldown areas surrounding the blaze.
