So today's Juneteenth for some people it's a holiday take time off. Others they don't even know

Juneteenth is and don't know why we should celebrate. I hear a lot of different attitudes

that seem to be mixed and basically what it is is the day in 1865 when there were

enslavement and women in Texas that found out they were free and that was after we first had

emancipation and then this came later then Juneteenth was probably the last day we had to deal with

slavery and basically it's when President Lincoln declared all enslaved people are free

and a lot of people debating on what this means right and saying that you know I was listening

to some talk radio coming in talking about how Lincoln was a Republican and how
