So as if people are not confused enough,

according to new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University,

the lockdowns, you know, the lockdowns they started during the beginning of the pandemic,

apparently had no impact whatsoever on COVID-19.

I saw this in the Washington Times today, just in case you think I'm spreading disinformation,

or misinformation, or whatever they call it these days.

According to a survey, according to an investigation by Johns Hopkins,

the lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality

about 0.2%. That's the review of the multiple scientific studies.

So the lockdowns reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, meaning they weren't affected at all.

The quote, the research paper here, we find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures,

border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality.

But the research paper said lockdowns did have devastating effects on the economy and

contributed numerous social ills. That's what the paper says here. It says they have contributed

to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest,

contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy, the reports have.
