I was looking at something last night,

doing some homework for the show,

stumbling upon a few things.

And it stumbled upon that old saying that Mark Twain said, he said, you know, history rhymes.

It doesn't repeat itself.

But it was Karl Marx, I think, that said that history does repeat itself.

He says, first of all, Carl Marx says something, he says, the first time history happens is a tragedy.

The second time it becomes a farce.

And I think today we're living in that time where there are many examples of this insight from history.

I mean, Marx couldn't see how farce would become the staple of the ruling class, but we're there now.

We're at this point where elites would defend what they see is their interest with a web of calculated deception, extending beyond the limits of the absurd.

Yesterday, we're talking about the pardoning of Hunter, Hunter Biden.

But see, here we are in a moment where it feels as if we've arrived at that dystopian mark,

a little bit ahead of schedule.

I mean, this is, and what I'm talking about is you look at books, you look at movies,

you look at the media.
