The birth of Jesus was timed at the confluence of various interconnected developments — prophetic, spiritual, theological, cultural, political, and even astronomical. Interestingly, there’s some evidence that a pair of planetary conjunctions happened around the historically accepted time frame for the birth of Christ. This could potentially explain the Star of Bethlehem or perhaps the Merkabah – an upward and downward interlocked tetrahedron that appeared as an orb. Merkabah means “light-spirit-body” which could have been a vehicle of God that moved across the sky and positioned itself over Holy individuals or places. Furthermore, as we enter a new phase of science and theology, the angels are relevant to the nativity scene as their characteristics are similar to what we now call aliens or cosmic visitors.
