The realization that there are most probably infinitely many galaxies in the universe slowly diffused from the narrow circle of theoretical cosmologists, the wider, including philosophical audience, in particular the philosophical community, and in some cases religious community, there's this interest that is based primarily in a number of things.

One, scientific, two, like esoteric, paranormal.

And of course, when we're looking at the growing interest in religion and religion mixed with the aliens, we find a demonic presence on the planet.

Or we are looking for a demonic presence in space, demonic cosmology, or the race of space.

Okay.

A wraith is sort of like a ghost, but it's a death ghost.

It's a death spirit.

It's the dark spirit that comes from the darkest places of the universe.

And infinity of the universe bears many strange conceptual consequences.

One, of course, is the sharing of space itself and most often with extraterrestrials.

That may or may not have interest, you know, these aliens may not have interest in us.

And to an open universe, the total number of intelligent observers is infinite. But if you have a closed universe or the idea that, you know, we're pretty much compartmentalized,

then we have a finite group or, you know, we may have civilizations that are dying off,

like in War of the Worlds, if you remember, when H.G. Wells was talking about the Martians.

The Martians were dying off, and this was

their last-ditch effort to come and colonize, but then it was our diseases that we fought off
