Hello and welcome to the political party. I'm now back from Edinburgh and into the swing

of the regular shows again and this was a live show recorded at the other palace featuring

Justine Greening, someone who commands cross-party support respected across the board,

former education secretary in a sector of state for international development,

as well as well as other ministerial posts, and a straight talking northerner.

And Justine, I knew she was going to be a great guest. She was even better than I predicted.

Interviewed her before on my TV show on Spun and she was great. She was even better on the podcast.

And there are moments when you interview people where you get a real clarity about who they are

on what they believe. And one thing that really struck me and it'd be interesting to hear from

you if you get the same thing, she was wasted so few words. The economy of her language, she's

she says absolutely what she means and there's no waffle at all and he's really clear. And I just

think politics at the moment, high level politics, really missing that. That's straight to,

and usually when people say straight talking what they mean is sometimes slightly offensive,

they think a marginal forage or people like that. What I mean by this is just a really clear

thing who can articulate in straightforward language with passion what they truly believe.

And her passion for education is real and it really shines out. And it's just one of those

important reminders that often we see health and education as core labour values,

but for many conservatives, it's certainly Tim Lawson, education is a core value for them as well.

So she is a phenomenal guest. So enjoy.
