and Director of UK in a changing Europe.

He's also an author of a relatively recent book about Brexit.

A lot of the questions in this interview come out of that book,

but as always, we meander around a whole world of things,

including this wonderful organisation, UK in a changing Europe,

which to be honest, when you first hear it, you presume,

I would presume, isn't outwardly pro-European organisation.

It's not, and he talks about the academic work that they do,

the fact that they are non-partisan,

but aren't afraid to reach conclusions that ruffle feathers.

It's brilliant.
