Mick Lynch from 2022, fantastic guest. And since he's not the general secretary of the RMT anymore,

0:27.3

you don't see much of him. And he was such a great communicator, really good fun. And obviously

0:33.4

he and I's politics differ a bit, but it was just great. And I often think about that interview and just what great company he was.

0:41.2

And I loved the way that he would.

0:43.2

You know, it's not about whether you agree with someone or not sometimes.

0:45.9

Just appreciating their skill is, I think, a sort of healthy attitude to have an approach to have to politics.

0:53.6

I disagree with him. But I would agree with him,

0:56.4

but there are lots of things we disagreed on.

0:58.5

But I love the way that he disarmed quite hostile live TV interviews.

1:03.8

I just think it was so good.

1:04.9

And also making the case of trade unions.

1:06.8

But so this is a treat from the back catalogue to keep me going until next week. Thank you to everyone who has come to see me on tour so far. I mean, it's just been an absolute, I always love it. Obviously, it's my job. I'm a comedian. But man, oh, thank you so much. Last week was great. Milton Keynes out in this world. And Maidstone was wonderful. So thank you to everyone who's come.

1:29.6

The tour continues on the 26th of February. I'm at Canterbury, the Gulbenkian. That's on this Thursday.

1:35.2

Then I'm Friday. I'm in Bridport at the Electric Panis. Then next week I'm at Guilford,

1:39.6

the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Buxton, Shrewsbury, Isle of Wight. Now, I've also added another 13 or 14 dates, including another night of the Bloomsbury Theatre on the 16th of May. So if you weren't there on the 14th of February, the 18th of April is almost sold out. To the 16th of May, and tickets for that are going fast as well. So if you're in London, you want to come and see the show. This is for my stand-up show, Define Calamity. Go to matford.com. And then I've added a load of places that should have been part of the tour anyway, including Portsmouth on the 3rd of June. And then Norwich, I'm going back to, because the Norwich Playhouse is sold out. So I'm going back on the 12th of June. York, the Crescent, always love playing it. 14th of June. I'm doing a second night in that lead city varieties on the 15th of June because that first date I think is sold out are almost as. I'm going to the Glasgow Glee Club, a phenomenal venue on the 16th of June. Aberdeen Lemon Tree, which I loved so much on the last tour on the 18th of June. Bristol. 1532, which is a venue I've not played before. I've done the Hen and Chicken before in the Tobacco Factory, but I've never done 1532. So if you're in the South West, come and see me in Bristol on the 26th of June at 1532. Then in July, I'm doing Basingstoke, the Haymarket. I'm going back to Birmingham, where the tour started, on the 8th of July. Bedford, Quarry Theatre, which again I loved on the last tour on the 10th of July. I'm back to Maidenhead, Nordham Farm. That date has sold out as well. And there's another date at the Solford Lowry because that, that is sold out.

3:08.9
