Hello and welcome to the political party. Today's guest is

Nadi of Wittam, the Labour MP for Nottingham East, who you may remember was elected

in 2019 at just 23 years old and was therefore known as the baby of the house and that is a moniker that we talk about whether it is helpful or not.

You be pleased to know that at the ripe old age of 27 she's already too old to be the baby of the house thanks to

Kia Mather being elected in a by election so the pressure is now off in that regard

but this was recorded on the day that Kia Starama unveiled his six, they're not called pledges, six promises, six aims, six steps, of course is the word.

So we talk about that because it's fair to say that Nadia is to the left of Kiestama,

but it is interesting to hear about her relationship with him and the direction of the Labour Party.

She's also a massive Nottingham Forest supporter, which it had to come up, so we do talk about it.

I'm returning to the stage in a few weeks on the 28th of May for five nights at the

Soho Theatre doing a work in progress show of some material I'll be taking to the Edinburgh Festival.

child ticket on the bus for ages until I got elected and then obviously you couldn't do that anymore.

Well the problem is it cuts both ways, doesn't it?

Because if you look young you can get into the cinema on the cheap and write buses for free,

but then you can't buy alcohol?

Yeah, I went to the cinema with my partner

and we went to watch a 15 and I got ID'd.

I mean, I don't know like 15 year olds 14 year olds whatever don't carry ID and she

didn't and she was like what do you think I am going to the cinema with a 14 year

old holding that one.
