for what you're about to hear from the deputy leader of the Labour Party. But just before that,

who for a while was at Cardiff University and was president of the Labour Student Society.

So given where a lot of these emails have gone in the past, you know that the person he's

encountered is of course, cereal. I was going to say offenders, not the right word, but sort of

cereal protagonist, Neil Kinock. Now Leo sent a fantastic story about Neil coming to talk to their

student union and just how warm he was. But there's a brilliant moment in this.

He said the one thing that sticks out in my mind about everything else was five minutes from

a student in the audience asked him about Tony Ben before he answered. I reminded Neil he only had

five minutes left. So it'd be preferable if he kept the answer brief. 25 minutes later.

I had to interject to tell him that if he didn't finish, he'd miss his train. We rushed him out of the

hall back into my friends until he had to. Yarris which speed about to the station. I sent him a

text to see if he got his train okay. No response came. I was completely worried all night as I

did. Rationally thought he missed his train with images of Neil sleeping off on Cardiff Central

station platform waiting for the five AM train swirling in my head. Luckily I received a text

of following morning stating good night with great comrades. He just reached the train the train in time

but his phone had run out of battery. I'd be the huge sigh of relief. Reflecting on the evening,

Neil is one of the warmest, funniest and down to the politicians I've ever met. They said never

meet your heroes but I'm so glad I did. Con regards Leo. Leo that is a fantastic story. And of course
