| 0:46.0 | And what I want to do today is talk about when tracking your food intake is appropriate. |
| 0:52.0 | And I'm going to use the word food intake when you hear me talk about tracking. |
| 0:55.3 | So anytime you hear me say tracking, I'm usually going to be referring to food and not calories. |
| 1:01.8 | And there's a reason behind this is when you're tracking what you're eating, you don't want to |

| 1:07.5 | You're going to go through all of this effort and learn nothing about your nutrition |
| 1:10.9 | because the important aspect of tracking is to learn about what you're eating. So if you track what |
| 1:17.3 | you're eating, so you put everything that you eat into an app. So that's what tracking is, |
| 1:21.3 | is you take the food that you're eating and you put it into an app to get information about |
| 1:26.2 | what you're eating. And what it does is it gives you information about what you're eating. |
| 1:30.6 | It tells you how many calories you're eating, how much protein you're eating, how much fiber, |
| 1:33.9 | how much magnesium, how much vitamin C, iron, etc. |
| 1:37.3 | And this process is incredibly helpful for getting feedback about your nutrition. |
