that is a writing position right so it's specifically says you need to have great grammar

great spelling skills all of that stuff because you are a writer and editor in this position

and I received a resume and this person was an editor in chief of a publication and they

spelled chief wrong.

It was C H E I F instead of C H I E F right like it's misspelled first line item on the

resume like that was the first job on there and I'm like well absolutely you are automatically

disqualified because on your own resume you couldn't spell one word this is how big work

correctly and there's grammarly there's spell check there are so many things available

to you but I know mistakes happen and I know it's probably just an error and if someone

pointed it out to this person they'd be like oh my god I can't believe I did that it was

an off day what have you it happens like everyone no matter how perfect you are no matter

how great of an employee no matter how wonderful of a candidate everyone has off days and

things slip through the cracks so this person obviously is not a candidate I am considering

but it doesn't mean I wouldn't like to help them in their future endeavors and pointing
