Hello, everybody. Welcome to Three Point Perspective. The podcast about illustration, how to do it,

how to make a living at it, and how to make an impact on the world with your art. I'm Jake Parker.

I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry. And all three of us are professional illustrators. We've all worked for all the major publishers in the business.

Together we've published somewhere around 75 children's books and we've all taught

illustration at university art schools. That is right. Each week we come at you guys with different

illustrator interviews or fantastic listener questions. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we argue,

but each time you learn something, brand spanking new.

Have you guys noticed the mass exodus of artists leaving Instagram to go to Kara, the Kara app or the Kara app? It's crazy.

I can't believe how many people are leaving.

I'm seeing it in my feed.

And everybody's a little like, I don't know if I should do this, but here's my account.

It's the most lukewarm jump in my opinion that I have seen into social media.

Right.

It's so Will's being a little facetious.

I just barely mentioned it before he had record. He's like, what? What's going on? Because here's, here's a last week, the three of us kind of took a, I mean, it's like summer, summer break. So we took a week off. We went to the mountains. Not together. Although that would have been,

that would have been cool.

But we all went like our separate ways.

And I get back and,

you know,

having very limited access to Wi-Fi and even cell phone reception, right?

And I come back and like,

I open them Instagram.
