Mo, do you change yourself to make yourself more likable for your significant others'

family?

That is the question, and I'm curious as to what you guys think about this situation because a good friend

of mine is in this exact

position and he's not sure if with what his significant other is asking him to do or

not do for a couple of days to appease her family coming over is understandable or offensive. And so to give some

backstory on their relationship they started dating a little less than a year ago

like I think they're coming up on a year.

And so I know this guy pretty well and I'm excited for him because in my time of knowing

of him I've known him for a while he's never really been serious about a

relationship. He's been really been serious about a relationship.

He's been in relationships, but not the kind of guy that I've ever seen, like,

actually want to go out of his way to meet his significant others' family.

So I'm happy for him.

So I'm speaking to him a little while ago, and'm like so what are you going to do about Thanksgiving?

Because they're like kind of right at that point where they they're serious enough to where they have to make a decision on how are we going to split up are you going to go to your family

am I going to go to mine what are we going to do?

So she asked him one day what would you feel about my family actually coming to visit us

for Thanksgiving and you hosted because she lives in a smaller apartment and he lives in a condo. It's a really nice condo so they have a little more space.

Typically he hosts his family but his family is smaller and she goes to her family because her family is a little bigger

But she wanted to do something separate which was like the parents his parents they all meet smaller Thanksgiving, all good.
