He featured Ryan on his podcast several times and they had a great relationship with a lot of mutual respect.

In this podcast they talk about bootstrapping versus raising money to grow business and other exciting topics in the business world.

We decided to share this episode to honor Dave’s legacy and give a heartfelt thanks to the good folks at ClickFunnels for choosing such a kind leader who put other people first. We hope that the ripple effects that he created continue on throughout our community and throughout the world.
He will be missed.

0:38.9	the way that capitalism is done. Dave and I only met a couple of times, but he always went
0:46.0	out of his way to edify our community to talk about how impressed he was with everything that we're doing. He checked in on me as a friend,
0:57.2	even in his last days. While he was wrapping things up and focusing on his family, he reached out
1:03.2	to me to check in on me. He was just that kind of guy. And if you ever met him, you felt that too.
1:12.0	He was the biggest smile in the room, no matter what was going on.
1:15.7	And he always put others first.
1:17.9	He ran ClickFunnels this way too.
1:20.2	If you've ever been to one of the ClickFunnels events,
1:23.2	or you've been impacted by the content or the technology that they've created, it's always
1:30.1	been focused on putting the customer first. That was a reflection of how Dave operated in the
1:36.2	world. So the team and I dug up this interview that Dave and I recorded together. That was about
