As I grow and evolve as a teacher, I'm learning what the balance is between preparing and

staying present.

On one hand, it helps to be prepared, especially when doing presentations or guiding events.

But on the other hand, sometimes that same preparation can really take me out of the present

moment.

I find myself searching for thoughts or thinking really hard to make sure I've hit all my

So for anyone who needs to perform in this way, whether it's giving a presentation or

leading a meeting, in these instances, where can we strike the balance between the

screen, thinking about our preparation, and staying present, actively listening, and communicating

I've been reflecting on the times that I haven't been prepared or don't prepare as much,

and I can trust my innate knowledge.

When it comes to meditation, I feel like there's not as much pressure for me to prepare

I know that I have a wealth of knowledge that I can count on and tap into.

First we remember, then we understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create.
