I really enjoyed those teams. John, let me just say this too about

John versus Gil. I should have said this to Ronnie. John made everybody else better. I never felt

like Gil did that as much as John did that. John was a prolific passer.

He had great feel, great vision.

Now, some will say straight line speed, straight line vision, not enough of a player, not

enough of a shooter, not maybe the greatest score, all of his points came in transition. That's true for a big

portion of his career that the majority of his points probably came in transition, or the

highest percentage of his points came in transition through the first four or five years of his

career. But as he got older and figured it out, he developed that mid-range game.

It was never a terrible stroke.

There was a bad stroke in college.

I remember that.
