First weekend since August without football, and maybe some of you are going to tune into college hoops for the first time.

There are some really good games.

Michigan, Michigan State tonight, and then tomorrow you get the matchup of perhaps the top two picks in the NBA draft when BYU and Kansas play.

Here to talk college hoops with me is one of my favorites to do it with.

It's been bleak around here, Mike, because neither Maryland or Georgetown,

Mason's having a great year, but as you know about the DMV,

it's Maryland and Georgetown above everything else.

Just real quickly before we get to sort of the national scene,

should Maryland fans be patient with Buzz Williams?

Many of them aren't.

I am, but what do you say?

I don't know why you wouldn't be patient.

He's got a tremendous track record.

Everywhere he's been, from Marquette, Virginia Tech to A&M,

he's been highly successful in all those places.

So I don't know why you wouldn't be patient.

And obviously this is a very disappointing year, but I don't know.

It's not disappointing relative to what they were expected to be.

It's disappointing relative to you'd rather win and you'd rather have fun with the success that you get from being involved in
