Welcome everybody to the Lockdown Lakers podcast. I'm Anthony Erwin here in a bit. I'm going to be joined by Pete and he and I are going to discuss the James Hardin Trade. I touched on it a little bit yesterday, but really wanted his thoughts on this.

We discussed it from a purely basketball standpoint and how what this means for the Lakers. That's more in segment one and then in segment

two we get more into the the conversation I know he loves to have with me which is

you know what does this mean for the NBA at large and and

superstars just being able to throw tantrums and get to wherever they want to

get to so that's a fun back and forth there. As you guys know,

Pete and I disagree on that subject and so that leads to a fun conversation.

Then finally in the third segment the Lakers are in and so that leads to a fun conversation.

Then finally in the third segment,

the Lakers are embarking on a tougher stretch of the season.

Next 10 games or so feature a seven-game road trip

and then a couple of other games against some playoff hopeful teams.

Not very many. I think there's only one kind of sleeper team which is the the

Pistons in there. Beyond that it's a pretty tough stretch so Pete and I take a closer

look at that and try to preview what that might look like and the things that he and I

are going to be looking for from the Lakers during those games. Really fun show

today, really fun week of shows if you guys want to go check

out any of the shows you might have missed, but let's go you and I are looking a little smart. We said that we were going to say a couple days ago that the

Lakers are really going to turn things around and that they were going to kind of turn this new leaf on the

season and and since then they've trailed for 11 total seconds over the last three games.

Is that the stat? We've only traded for 11 seconds over how many games?
