I work in a department with Thinwalls, which means I often overhear fragments of conversations

from my department head's office, especially when she's on the phone or having meetings.

I would get no work done because I would be ease dropping all the time.

Yesterday, I unintentionally overheard what seemed to be a conversation between her and

her husband.

From the bits and pieces I could gather, it appears she plans to leave the company at the

end of the year and start her own venture.

This would make her competition for us.

It seemed like her husband was urging her to leave the company immediately while she

wanted to stay until the end of the year.

There's currently working on some big projects that give her access to valuable information

in direct contact with some big clients whose business she could take.
