Hi Bert show, I really need your advice. I'm in the middle of a parenting pickle and I'm not sure what the best decision is.

Here's a deal.

My husband and I are going on our first vacation,

together totally solo since my daughter was born.

I'm so excited to get away,

but I'm really nervous about what I'll come back to. My daughter is

newly 17 years old and though I totally trust her for her to be alone for the

weekend and take care of the house I'm not sure if I have faith that she'll behave

herself the whole time.

She's a great kid with good friends that I do trust,

but let's be clear, she's not some straight-laced honor student.
