To cut hair or not to cut hair, that is the question.

Yeah, my husband and I are having a bit of a debate right now over our four and a half year old daughter,

who probably has like shoulder length hair and she wants to cut it

short like short short and my thing is it's your hair there's no reason for it to

not be short it's it to not be short.

There's not a health or like safety issue, so go for it.

She used to have longer hair. It gets tangled very easily because it's fine.

She has very sensitive scalp.

So anytime you brush her hair,

she ends up like crying because it just hurts.

When we cut it shorter, it's easier to manage.

And it's hot outside.

I cut mine shorts.

So I'm like, sounds good. And my husband was like, no. And I said, well, why not? Are you worried that she'll freak out once we actually cut it short? I was like, if that's the case, I'll order like a wig off Amazon or I'll just

hold her hair shorter in the mirror and be like this is what it's going to look like are

you sure and if she ends up not liking it well it's a life lesson that that's

okay you can't protect them from everything and if they're going to fail, this is an area where I think that it is very safe for her to fail him. And he says no for a different reason because we were looking at her friend group and he thinks that

she wants to cut her hair short like her friends who are boys and then girls who do

not have hair like hers.

So a lot of her friends are little kids of color,

so they have braids or rows or like very short haircuts
