Welcome to the Bone Yard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the Humday edition of the yard. Man, it's been a good week here. It's cool. I thank the good Lord for central air and heat, right? I mean, you know, we go from no winter to winter being here with a fury.

That's the thing, too.

It always seems like the egg bowl is kind of like the beginning of winter in the state of

Mississippi.

So we get to the egg bowl and all of a sudden we've ushered in this cold and gray weather.

But man, it's sunny today.

It's beautiful outside.

I kind of woke up looking like a winter wonderland around here in Stargville.

But how great is it to have some seasons?

It really is.

It's a cool thing to have seasons.

And, you know, we kind of have two here.

I guess two and a half maybe.

We have summer, which lasts from like March to November, and then we have fall that lasts like about 15 minutes, and then we get in a weather, a winter weather.

So there we are.

But be that as it may, I hope it you're doing well today.

There is no Mississippi State football game this Saturday, which is a bit of a disappointment to me. The way that we're playing right now,

I feel like it's just a matter of time before we break through and get a win. And, you know,

we had Missouri on the slate this week, and it felt like that we had an opportunity to win a

ballgame. Granted, they played exceptionally well against Vanderbilt this past weekend, but they're running

football.

And I think we're actually kind of a bad matchup for them.
