Welcome back. Ladies and gentlemen, listening to another edition. Oh, DIY money.

DiWi. Money. How's the move going, a how odd? Oh, my. I oh I hate moving uh it's going okay I'll say

the biggest thing right now uh this is in my top five stressors in the moment is that I don't have a

couch so my former couch I had a beautiful sectional it was massive that my uncle gave to me um

when I moved into my first apartment.

So it's pretty old, but it is massive and heavy.

It had like a full pull-out mattress, the whole nine yards.

And so I ended up, I got rid of that because it wouldn't fit in the new living room, at least not well.

So now my current couch is just a classic lawn chair, which has been fine,

but I think I'm having a hard time because I have, as you know, and probably some people listening to

this as I feel like people get to know me over the course of the show, but I have a hard time

sitting down to begin with. And so sitting in a lawn chair while my kitchen is

still in boxes, not going to happen. Yeah. And so this week has been, yeah, challenging to say the

least. But don't you sleep on the ground when you're camping? But I'm getting close. I have three more

boxes in the kitchen, but I'm waiting on, maybe you can speak into this. My roommate wants to get a hutch, never really had a hutch. I don't think I get it. But the point is, I think she wants more storage space. Yeah. You just moved up a notch in my book. So great, we're getting a hutch. Great. But we don't have the hutch either. Okay. So there's boxes of, like, food that will go in the hutch.

Yeah.

And then the lawn chair that will be the couch. And then there's just, like, decorations that haven't been hung on the walls. So it's stressing me out. Yeah, it's coming along. It doesn't feel like home yet. Well, sure, of course not. And everybody is a creature of habit to a degree, and you like to have your stuff and you like to be comfortable, especially when you leave the office or something like that. So I get it. I mean, it's a challenge. Like I go to a hotel room and they try to give you all the amenities and it's still just not the same and you're just like, I don't like this. What kind of amenities are they giving out? Like, you know, coffee makers or, you know, whatever, like the closets with the hangers, whatever. It's just anyways. It's not home. It's not home. It's real simple. But we're getting close. And I will say if either of my parents are listening to this, wow, what lifesavers? Because I had friends, which you know, you love to give me grief about this.

Sorry that you had friends. So they no longer your friends. Let me finish the sentence,

come on. I'm out of here. They may not be after what I asked of them. But I am at the phase where I probably should be hiring a mover. I will acknowledge that. But I don't. Because I still have friends that are willing. And so I got the U-Haul.

I had seven of my buddies show up and we loaded this thing and it was amazing. And then what I needed

the most help with was after things came off the truck, feeling like I had someone, aka my mother,
