0:27.0	My boyfriend is in the army and he is stationed in Germany. We've been together for two years.
0:36.0	Been together where in the same town? No, we were together when we were in our 20s. We had dated previously and we did live in the same town at that.
0:50.0	At what age did you stop living in the same town?
0:54.0	28. And how old are you now? 32. And in this past year. How often have you seen him in person?
1:10.0	Six times. You're not going to Germany on my watch.
1:19.0	Okay. No. Okay. Don't even give that thought. The only reason you would go is you known him for a couple of years at this age, at your current age.
1:34.0	That a guy in the military wants to be connected to some woman is nothing new.
1:40.0	Right. You're not married to him. You ain't going there. And you can't marry him because you really don't know him today. You know him college age. Are you really the same woman you were then?
1:55.0	No, no, I'm not. No, he's not the same guy either. So no. Okay. You can consider this a tragedy worthy of a novel.
2:09.0	But don't you dare. And long term long distance relationships are not relationships.
2:17.0	Well, and I have heard you say that before and I'm going to go with you. I'm sorry. I don't know. I'm getting emotional. I think I'm just nervous.
2:26.0	But the fairy tale. You want the fairy tale. Of course you do.
2:31.0	I think you're right. The reason I had been considering moving was to close the gap because I know.
2:42.0	Okay. No. No. No. He closes the gap and he's busy being in the military.
2:49.0	Okay. Okay. Does he plan to make a career out of the military?
2:57.0	No. He has two more years left. Good. When he's finished with his two years, spend two years getting to know him and then decide if you want to get married.
3:08.0	Okay. We'll do. Okay. Otherwise you're going to be functioning on hopes, prayers and fantasies and not reality. And I'd rather you dealt with reality.
3:19.0	Yeah. Okay. That makes sense. I'm fussy that way.
3:23.0	No, and I've been listening to you for a long time and I figured I should call because I have, I mean your advice is carried me this far.
3:32.0	And so I had a feeling that it probably wasn't the right decision. I know it's a romantic idea, but don't do it.
