Good morning, good afternoon, good night. Wherever you are in the world, this is high-wire. Yes,

I'm stuttering this morning because I'm actually going to step out on the high-wire for real today.

I thought about the topic I'm going to get into and I thought about why I named this show

high-wire. The idea was death-defying talk without a safety net or the idea that I'm not owned by

sponsors or anything like that and I can talk about whatever I want but the truth is,

is we are reaching a place in this country that I am becoming afraid to talk about some of the

things I want to talk about. Today's subject, I don't think, comes short of a subject everyone

clearly is terrified to talk about and that's the discussion of sexual harassment. We've been

watching this in the media, we've been talking about it here on the high-wire team and we're watching

it, sweep the nation, all of Hollywood, our media, our politics is involved in this and nobody's

really having a conversation. We're all watching and happening. We're watching people lose their jobs,

we're watching the varying degrees of the issues that are being brought forward and I think it's

time for a serious discussion before we make a tragic mistake in our society. Now, I'm a man.

Does that mean that I can't be a part of this discussion now? Is this simply only a discussion

for women to have? Maybe so. Maybe that is the case. Certainly, we have to recognize that through

our history, women have been oppressed. There has been physical abuse brought and held over the

heads of women. So maybe this is the time where women are going to decide where this all plays out.

So I'm going to be speaking to the women in this audience. I think we have a large female

audience and I'm going to ask some serious questions that I have. I think that you must have these
