Thursday, former President Donald J. Trump was convicted by a jury of his peers in Manhattan on all 34 counts, one for each hush money check that his

organization sent indirectly to pornographic actress Stormy Daniels of falsifying business records

which itself is a misdemeanor with the intent to aid or

conceal another crime which in the legally prevailing view of Manhattan

District Attorney Alvin Bragg elevated those misdemeanors into felonies.

That other crime Trump was convicted of intending to avoid

was section 17 slash 152 of the New York election law which makes it a misdemeanor

for two or more persons to conspire to promote or prevent

the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means.

Those unlawful means, in turn, were never settled on during the trial.

Indeed, Judge Juan Murchin instructed jurors,

they didn't need to agree on which means.
