It was great to see several thousand of our listeners, okay maybe not quite that many out in

Washington DC on Thursday for a special live podcast and we will be producing the results of those experiments sometime

later this week I presume but it was really fun does anyone want to have

any reflections want to share share any live energy moments?

I just love seeing people out there and I love being in a weird movie theater that

kind of should be a parking garage in the middle of Washington DC.

It's the it was at the East Street Landmark Cinema sort of an art underground art house

theater that I have been to many many times over the course of my years at watching and

reviewing movies in Washington and it was it was great fun to finally be

part of the show and to see all of all of you listeners who came out and applauded us and

laughed at our terrible jokes and booed at mine. I that's not inaccurate.

All right let's jump into the news.

Last week, President Joseph Robinette Biden the second

in his 41st month in office signed an executive order banning migrants from applying for asylum

status unless they get in line at an official border point of entry, by which he means use

the government's smartphone asylum app three weeks ahead of time, not

while they're in their native country, but somewhere semi-closed that usually means Mexico which is a super not necessarily great country at the moment.
